Miracles Written by Suzanne Klare

Some times you hear about miracles on the news. A long lost person is found alive, somebody lived through a deadly accident, etc. I'm going to tell you guys about something my mother told me, what she had heard in the news.

(I'm sorry, but I don't have any names.)

There was this woman, who was born blind. She was used to being blind and didn't really mind it. One day, she went skydiving. She couldn't see anything during it, though, I guess she just wanted to feel what it was like. She skydived with a buddy, because she wouldn't know when she had to open her parachute. I guess she liked the skydiving itself, but I'm not really sure. Anyway, the next day (or sometime after that), she began to see a little. When she was in the shower, instead of seeing the blackness she was used too, she began to see blurry visions, and every minute, it became more clear. The skydiving had given her, her vision back.

And quite recently, there also was kind of a miracle in the news, regarding Nelson Mandela. He is in the hospital, and a week ago, everyone was preparing for the message on the news with his death. But he got to his 95th birthday, and he's recovering everyday. That's a miracle to me too.

I just love hearing about these kind of things in the world, it makes me think there still is something good in the world. Miracles can happen:p

I´m sorry Willy, but I didn´t write this with that in mind. I´m not Catholic or anything, I´m just happy these things DO happen every once in a while. You don´t hate me now, do you?

Hmm, as for the Miracles blog post, does one have to be a person of faith to believe in miracles happening? I don't know if I believe in them, call me negative or hopeless, but... what if such things are just mere coincidences and timing?

Often I think that people are so desperate to believe in a miracle and the work of God that they forget science. It's not a bad thing, even if it does rely wholly on faith, because the outcome is positive regardless of what you think caused something to happen. I just don't know if I believe in this kind of stuff since I think that while some stories are inspiring and interesting others are just plain silly. Like, I don't the Virgin Mary is going to appear in a tortilla or whatever.

Hoping you'll start feeling better soon. :)

I agree, it is nice to hear these things on the news. Unfortunately, it seems that there is more bad news than good news these days. But nicely done Suzanne! And feel better Breanna:)!

Hey Willy, you can do your next blogpost about the conversation with your dad! I actually never had a real talk, I just asked my mother when I didn't understand something, and most things I know I heard from at school (sadly, because those are not really worth knowing either :/)
