Game Characters: By Suzanne Klare

Returning characters
Attention! Spoilers! Don't read if you don't want spoilers!
I've already talked two times about the upcoming AA game, and I thought, let's make it a third.
Today, I'm going to talk about the characters, who appeared in previous games, and made a comeback. Here's a list of them (random order):
Phoenix (DUH)
Apollo
Edgeworth (YAY)
Pearl
Trucy
Klavier
Ema?

(Tell me in the comments if I missed someone)
I like that all these characters (who we know and love) are making a comeback. We get to see Pearl all grown up, a new version of Polly (Apollo), and Trucy comes back with her magic panties.

However, like I said, I follow court-records, and the spoiler forum (http://www.forums.court-records.net/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=27489) on it. Some people already played through the game (in Japanese), and gave their opinion. Sadly, most of the returning characters aren't handled well. We only see Trucy twice, and Pearls only helps explain about black psychelocks (don't ask, I don't know anything on that topic). And Klavier hasn't got a big part either. It's like they just wanted to put in some characters from previous games, to please the gamer, and then just let them appear once. I was kinda disappointed when I read that.

But, we just have to see for ourselves! Maybe it's not that bad after all, we'll just have to wait for the game and see.

Sill, I have a question about the returning characters. WHAT HAPPENED TO MAYA (and Gumshoe)?! Thanks guys:)

Natalie: Written by Victoria

You know how we have certain days of the year to celebrate special people. We have Mothers and Fathers day and so on and so forth. Well, I think we should have a day set aside for our Brothers and Sisters, to celebrate all of the things we've been through together and all of the memories that we share:) A day that we can all just hang out and have fun. Although we don't, I have set aside today to spend time with my older sister, Natalie. So todays blog post is dedicated to her, because she is such a wonderful person!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of her:
They were taken in Florida, the first being at Disneyland, and the rest of them at Daytona beach.
                                                         She is my BFFL!

Peace!

I LOVE YOU, Nat!

Natalie
I love my sister Natalie! She really has been there for me through thick and thin. To me, she is the best sister in the whole world. Although we have had our share of arguments (like most siblings do). We always get over it (most of the time). Natalie really is a cool sister to have. She's someone that I can count on to be there for me when I need her! She is a Kindhearted, Sweet, Brave, Pretty, Smart, and Loving person and I'm proud to call her my sister. So here is to Natalie (Nat to me) and to all of the good and bad times we've shared together and to the future, hoping that it is full of just as much fun and great memories!!!

More on Logic: Written by William D

I noticed the positive reaction my post on logic received so I'm going to continue them. The next chapter discusses the importance of listening! How can one know what he is disputing if he doesn't listen to the subject! "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens" Proverbs 12:15 some people who love to listen may have the traits of humility, they will admit without grudge that many people have better ideas than them. He is quite interested in other people's opinions and he is willing to question himself.

So, are you guys ready for your test? Here are your options: A: This person loves to listen. B: That person hates to listen. C: Neither.

1: Gary: I know I'm right, I don't need to listen to you to try to convince me I'm not right!

2: Jerry: This music is way to loud! Please turn it down.

3: Jim: I need to stop listening to my friend Natt. I'm begging to care to much about his opinions. I can make my own decisions!

4 : Patty: I just have to many opinions, and I know I jabber about them to much! I need to listen more and except other people's opinions!

Have you thought about it? The answers are coming!

1: B: he obviously doesn't want to admit he could be wrong. He is just to prideful!

2: C: who wants to waist money on hearing aids at age 15!?!?!?!

3: B: his friend cares about him! He just doesn't want to listen.

4: A: she is trying to be humble and give others a chance to speak their opinions
.

There you go guys! See you in my next post;)

Dual Destinies released! By Suzanne Klare

I check the biggest Ace Attorney fansite every day, courtrecords.net. And a few days ago, I read something that made me scream and jump like a little girl. Dual Destinies finally came out! In Japan.
Still, I'm really happy!  This means the plot, the characters, the gameplay, it's finished! We just have to wait for an English translation :/
You guys know what this means, right? Spoilers! On court-records there's a forum that gives spoilers about the gameplay and plot of the game, and here's a link:
If you guys don't like spoilers, I'd recommend NOT to visit this website.
If you guys want to know more about the English release, you guys can check out
If you guys don't know the PW games and don't have any idea what I'm talking about...... I'm sorry :(

Good or Bad: How we affect one another: Written by Victoria

The Bible says in Proverbs, Chapter 25, Verse 11. A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. That means that we can either encourage and help the person that hears our words or discourage and destroy the person that the words are spoken to.

I'm going to give an example on how a persons words can really affect someone: I had a friend that had a Facebook and she was talking to this boy that she liked and was friends with on it. She had personally known this boy for years and they normally never fought, ( at least not around me). One day she decided, that she would relate to him how she had felt about him, by telling him that she liked him. He responded in the wrong way by saying, I don't like you and never will like you, so you should just go commit suicide. (There is more to what he said, but I'm not going to add any details).  After reading this, her heart broken, she did just that, she ended her life. Now lets look at it like this. What if that boy could have handled the situation in the right way and said, I don't have the same feelings towards you as you do me, I'd rather us just be friends. She might still be alive today. After finding out about her death, he was sorry, but it was to late.

What I am trying to say is, words are powerful. What we say to others can affect them either in a positive way or a negative way.

Now, you can do what ever you want with this, your words can either bring happiness or sadness, respect or disrespect, or in some cases like the one above life or death. Just remember all of the times that we have put a smile on someone's face and let us also recall the times when we have seen others walk away in tears, because of our choice of words. So let us let every word that comes out of our mouth be used with caution and kindness and at the very least our conscience will be clear.

The Mood Matrix Written by Suzanne Klare

Today, I'm going to talk about the upcoming Phoenix Wright game. If you have no idea who that is or simply just don't like the games, I warn you: this could be incredibly boring and confusing.

So the new game's main character is, once again, our good friend Phoenix Wright. After his name was cleared by Apollo, Phoenix decided to become a defense attorney again. THANK GOODNESS.

In the new game, Phoenix takes on cases with his new assistant, rookie lawyer Athena Cykes. She has a special talent: she can sense if a witness' emotions don't match up with the turn of events. For example: if the witness is the daughter of the murdered victim, and the witness saw the murder of her mother with her own eyes. If the witness was happy during this testimony. That would be really weird, right?

Athena has a device in her necklace (at least I think it's her necklace), that can sense the weird emotions during the testimony. If the previous example would happen in the PW game, Phoenix could point it out and get a new testimony.

I think the device has a lot in common with Apollo's bracelets. They both have to do with the witness' expressions, and they both don't count as real evidence, either. The bracelets are just for getting a new testimony or circumstantial evidence.

Personally I like The Mood Matrix system, because it's a new way to approach witness' testimonies. I just hope it will be as fun to use as I'm expecting it to be.

Well, that's it for today. If you have any opinions on the new Mood Matrix device, or something else regarding the game, just put it in the comments. If you guys just want to chat in the comments no problem:)

Logic Written by William D

My dad got me a very interesting book on Sunday. It's called "The fallacy Detective". A fallacy is a mistake, an error in logic! for example:

Dad: "People don't use their heads anymore..."
Son: "I use it all the time when I play soccer!" Now here, they are obviously talking about two different uses. The son has just used a fallacy! This book shows you how to use your deduction skills at a higher level, spot mistakes in logic (like Phoenix Wright), and think things through! So far it is quite interesting and engaging. Logic is the art of thought process and how to conduct those processes! I've read the first chapter so far, and I really like it :) Want to test your reasoning skills? I'll give you a small test.

Here are your options. A: This person does not wish to exercise their mind or they are afraid of the mental work. B: This person has a very inquisitive mind. C: None of the above.

1. Surfer: Hey, man. These waves are, like, so cool I just can, like, spend my life here, man.

2. Small child: I can't pick up my toys... I don't remember where they go.

3. Tom: Don't make me go into town to pick up groceries! There's a foot of snow fall since last night, and it will be a pain to shovel out the driveway again!

4. Merle: I like reading two different news papers which report the same event. That way I can see the issue from two different perspectives.

5. Nate: I hate going to the library, I always end up reading a ton and wasting time! But lets go anyways!

6. Benny: If I don't finish reading this book tonight, I'll have to pay the library a fine!

Thought about it? Well here are your answers!
1. A: There's more to life!
2. A: Kids can forget things when they want to...
3. C: He's being lazy physically.
4. B: He wants to gain more knowledge on the situation!
5. B: He may not want to admit it, but he loves learning.
6. C: Who wants to pay money? Am I right?

This is just a small taste of this amazing book. As I go on reading it, I'll make more posts on it! Until next time!

Dreams/Nightmares

Just recently, my friend and I had a discussion on dreams/nightmares that we've been having lately. I told him about this crazy dream that I've been having off and on here for a while. What happens is, I'm standing inside of this huge place (it looks something like a mansion). The only light that I have is what's shining through the windows, so it makes it kind of dark, because (there are no lights on in this place). It's not dark enough that I can't see what's in front of me, but it's pretty dark (it's kind of eerie). Anyway, there is this long flight of stairs leading up to a balcony. I start to climb up the extremely long staircase and when I reach the top, I walk over to the balcony and climb on top of it, stretch my arms out and free fall. (sometimes I can actually feel the wind hitting my face). The really weird thing about this dream is, I never hit the bottom, I always seem to wake up before that can even happen. I've asked several different people what they think about it and I always seem to get answers like (you might be getting ready to die) or (maybe your dream is trying to tell you something). I find these answers to be quite unnerving, "at least in my case". So my question for you today is, what do you think? Do dreams/nightmares really tell something that's going to happen or are they just dreams? I'd really like to know what your thoughts on this are, so please tell me!

These things happen: By Victoria

I'm sorry to everyone who reads our blog, but I'm not going to be able to make a post for today, because my doctor told me that I'm still extremely sick and that I have to stay in bed all day today. If everything goes well, then my post for tomorrow will be at 7:30 A.M. and should be at 7:30 every day from here on out. So again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience and I thank everyone for your patience and please remember me in prayer.

Miracles Written by Suzanne Klare

Some times you hear about miracles on the news. A long lost person is found alive, somebody lived through a deadly accident, etc. I'm going to tell you guys about something my mother told me, what she had heard in the news.

(I'm sorry, but I don't have any names.)

There was this woman, who was born blind. She was used to being blind and didn't really mind it. One day, she went skydiving. She couldn't see anything during it, though, I guess she just wanted to feel what it was like. She skydived with a buddy, because she wouldn't know when she had to open her parachute. I guess she liked the skydiving itself, but I'm not really sure. Anyway, the next day (or sometime after that), she began to see a little. When she was in the shower, instead of seeing the blackness she was used too, she began to see blurry visions, and every minute, it became more clear. The skydiving had given her, her vision back.

And quite recently, there also was kind of a miracle in the news, regarding Nelson Mandela. He is in the hospital, and a week ago, everyone was preparing for the message on the news with his death. But he got to his 95th birthday, and he's recovering everyday. That's a miracle to me too.

I just love hearing about these kind of things in the world, it makes me think there still is something good in the world. Miracles can happen:p

Michael Gray/ Arglefumph Written by William

I've always loved the internet, ever since I was a kid, I loved to watch walkthroughs for games, that I knew I could never play or needed help with. I had one problem though, I didn't like hearing people swear, my mom didn't like it either and she told me, that I could only watch youtube videos, if the you-tuber didn't swear. Well, I was presented with another problem, I couldn't find anyone like that. So, I started searching every day, for someone who did good walkthroughs, without swearing, I was having no luck, I still couldn't find anyone, and I usually didn't like watching silent walkthrough videos, because, I like to hear what the player thinks of the game. Then one day, I looked up a Nancy Drew walkthrough for,"Legend of the crystal skull". I saw a video as the first suggestion. The you-tuber was Arglefumph and I realized, that he was someone that I hadn't tried before, so I watched his video and Bam. I loved it! He had a great sense of humor, doesn't swear and he puts out videos at a pretty good rate! I know there are a lot of people, that don't like swearing (myself included). So, I highly suggest that you look him up. He even has his own blog, filled with very interesting tid-bits and he posts every day! His videos are great for when you're board or just plain depressed, so don't forget to look him up.

Ungrounded Fears

I had to help out one of my friends, with an article that she wrote about strange phobias, yesterday. She wanted me to help her out by, looking up several different phobias and their meanings, in some books and on the internet. The phobias that I found are quite interesting, and I thought that I would share them with you. Here are ten of them that I came up with:

1. Arachibutyrophobia - fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth

2. Ephebiphobia - fear of teenagers

3. Linonophobia - fear of string

4. Optophobia - fear of opening one's eyes

5. Phronemophobia - fear of thinking (This one made me laugh)

6. Somniphobia - fear of sleep

7. Syngenesophobia - fear of relatives

8. Thaasophobia - fear of sitting

9.Verbophobia - fear of words

10. Xanthophobia - fear of the color yellow or the word yellow

What do you think of these phobias? Are they funny, strange, etc.

Her-interactive is currently holding a summer contest called, where's sonny? It looked like a lot of fun, so I entered it. If you would like to participate in the contest, all you have to do is- Print flat sonny off of her-interactive's website. Then, take one or a couple of pictures of yourself with flat sonny. After that, you just send in your picture or pictures of you and flat sonny either by email, or if you have a facebook account, you can just post your entry to HeR's facebook page, and you're automatically entered into the contest.

If you win, you get your winning picture put into the next game, you get a Nancy drew book with everyone at Her-interactive's signature in it and a magic image mug with a sonny Joon design on it. The thing of it is, the contest ends on july,31,13 and I want to send in a least one more picture. Any suggestions???
